The Auggie, also known as a Aussie-Corgi comes from crossbreeding the Australian Shepherd and the Pembroke Welsh Corgi. The breed is known for being alert, fun, intelligent, and outgoing. Depending which trait a puppy inherits, their coat can range from short to medium in length and will require regular bushing to maintain it. The Auggie’s friendly demeanor makes them great with kids and other pets, but will have an strong instinct to herd anyone in the home. This breed does well in an active home environment and is not recommended for apartment life.
